Photo of 2000 reunion accompanies this story
By Annette Waggener Richards
The Adair County High School Class of 1955 is planning a class reunion on Saturday, September 24, 2005.
This will be the fourth such get-together since graduating 50 years ago. A wonderful group of young people is expected to attend. Once again, Hilma Akin Burton has graciously agreed to share her home, Magic Acres, with the class.
The reunion will begin at 2:00 p.m., Central, and catered food will be served at around 6:00 p.m.
It is hoped everyone can attend, but if those who can't join the in person are asked to please send a letter to share with classmates. Those attending are urged to remember to bring pictures, clippings, and any other memorabilia with you.
The cost is $20.00 per person. Checks should be made payable to Carol Janes and mailed to her at 3131 Meadow Lark Avenue, Louisville KY 40213.
If you need more information, call Carol at 502.634.9764 or Nancy Randall at 812.923.9128.
Directions: From Columbia, take East 80 about 7 miles to Freedom Church Road, turn right and go about 1.5 miles. Magic Acres Farm is on the left.
