Ronnie Glen Harper, 58, Metcalfe County, KY (1964-2022) Ronnie Glen Harper, 58, of Edmonton, KY passed away peacefully in his residence, surrounded by family on August 29, 2022. He was a lifelong logger, avid hunter, and fisherman born in Glasgow, KY on May 9, 1964, to James "Perry" Harper and Betty England Harper. Survivors Include: His loving wife of 38 years, Tammy Brown Harper of Edmonton, KY; Two children, Travis "T.J." Harper of Edmonton, KY, and Kimberly Brown (Justin) of Center, KY; Three grandchildren also survive, Brayden Ellis, Caroline Ellis, Lucas Brown. Two beloved animals, Tiny and Blackie. His Mother, Betty England Harper, One Brother; Gerry Harper (Robin), and Two sisters; Beverly Jessie, and Lori Shields (Nathan). Father and Mother-In-Law, Travis Wade and Mary Sue Brown. Two Brother-In-Law, Timothy "Duck" Brown (Cassandra), and David Brown (B.J.) One Sister-In-Law, Debbie Brown Cash (Steve Murphy) Nephews, Matthew Harper (Sarah), Lucas Harper (Emily), Garrett Shields, Wyatt Shields, Dylan Cash, Taylor Brown (Alyssa Bunch). Nieces, Susan Talbot (Abel), Courtney Biggs (Alex), Brooklyn Brown, Madison Crawley (Kalib) Destiny Murphy (Trevor). Several great nieces and nephews. A special friend who became family, Lowell Jessie. Ronnie was also fortunate enough in the last few years of his life to add a few more family members, and special caretakers; Taylor and Beth Berry, and Lisa Vibbert. He is proceeded in death by his father James "Perry" Harper, maternal grandparents Gilford and Lyda England, paternal grandparents Levi Harper and Lenar Bell Froedge Harper, and one nephew Kendall McDonald. Funeral services will be held 2pmCT Wednesday, August 31, 2022 in the chapel of Butler Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Harper Cemetery.
