ACSO: Domestic violence call leads to drug arrest

On Friday, August 26, 2022, the Adair County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic violence complaint off of Keen Drive.

Upon arrival of deputies, it was believed that at least one party who was outside the residence was under the influence and in possession of narcotics.


As a result of the investigation, Cindy Shaw, 43, of Columbia, was arrested on charges of:
  • Possession of a controlled substance 1st degree methamphetamine
  • Possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Public intoxication
The arrest was made by K-9 Deputy Chandler Staten, assisted by Deputy Kenny Perkins.
