EDA Agenda for Tuesday, July 19, 2022 meeting

The Columbia-Adair County Economic Development Authority will hold a Board of Directors Meeting at 8amCT on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, in the Chamber of Commerce at 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY.

Meeting Agenda:

Presiding - Bobby Morrison, Chairman
Welcome, Call To Order, Determination of a Quorum, Pledge of Allegiance & Prayer

Business:
- Approval of Minutes as presented - Doyle Lloyd, Secretary
- Approval of Treasurer's financial report - Roger Meadows, Treasurer

New Business:
1. Update of Board Members, Terms, etc.

2. K & M Option executed

3. Digging up environmental information and geotechnical information share with interested clients

4. Update on 2nd entrance road
1. Did not have to get dirt out of hay field
2. Sort of fixed a small pad with extra fill dirt and spread out extra top soil

5. Been researching Hwy 55 road improvements. Turn lane at Betty's & improvements by Doc's Market on state 6 year plan, funding not authorized so not much is known about scope of work on either. Project cost Betty's $620,000.00, Doc's Market $249,000.

6. Update on the plans by City and if county will install 2 tiles - Kenzie

7. Service Road to water tower and gas pump station. See plan. This has been in our plan for some time and may have been approved before, but probably need to approve again. Hope to have quote by meeting.

8. Other business.

9. Motion to adjourn.
