Great turnout for ACHS Class of 1967 Reunion By Prudence Hutchison Westholm The Adair County High School Class of 1967 held their 55th Reunion on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Trinity United Methodist Church. A total of 70 persons were in attendance and we enjoyed a wonderful evening of seeing our former classmates. A popular display at our reunion was the memorabilia table displaying several memory items from our high school years of 1963-1967. We attended Columbia Junior High from 1963-64, and then attended Adair Co High School from 1964-1967. Billy Rowe and Sammy Blair served as our entertaining masters of ceremonies for the evening. Lovely table decorations were designed by Emma Absher Jewell. We began our evening with a prayer of blessing our meal by Bill Henson. Carol Salato Myers and Barry Myers prepared our unique name tags with our photos from The 1967 Chieftain yearbook printed on each name tag. Emma Corbin Revis and David Revis compiled our class list and mailed invitations. Faye Roy Davidson coordinated the delicious catered meal by Brandy Held. Other reunion committee members were: Nancy Breeding Smith, Brenda Collins Williams, Donna Ellis Feese, Emma Corbin Revis, Prudence Hutchison Westholm, Bill Henson. Curtis Hardwick, David Revis, and David Burris. Regretfully, we have had 41 classmates to pass away since we graduated. Our graduating class in 1967 consisted of a total of 177. Judy Grant Giles and Sharon Tucker Edwards designed a lovely tree with the name tags of the deceased classmates displayed on the tree. List of 1967 Deceased Classmates:
Billy Rowe: (270) 634-0334 or Prudence Hutchison Westholm: (270) 763-9400. This story was posted on 2022-06-28 11:05:11
