Dwight Harris, age 88, Metcalfe County, KY (1934-2022)

Dwight Loyd Harris, age 88, of Edmonton passed away Friday, June 10, 2022 at Metcalfe Health Care in Edmonton. Born February 14, 1934 the son of the late Lemy and Elsie Davis Harris. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Ann Harris in 2019.

Dwight was retired from the Kentucky Forestry Division. He was a member of the Pink Ridge Baptist Church. Dwight served in the United States Army with rank of Sgt.



He is survived by his son, Tony and wife Donna Harris of Edmonton. Granddaughters, Stephanie and husband Andrew Grant of Edmonton. Candie and husband Peter Bennett of Sulphur Well. Six great grandchildren. Kadin Emberton, Grayson Medley, Austin Bennett, Lydia Bennett, Kessie and Colee Grant.

Funeral services will be held 11amCT Monday, June 13, 2022 at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial to follow in the Pink Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 Sunday and after 9am Monday at the funeral home.
