Free ice cream on Friday for Dairy Month

During the month of June, we celebrate the farmers who produce the safe and nutritious products produced from milk.
  • Adair County is home to 24 dairy farmers who milk a total of 3,500 cows
  • Adair County ranks fourth in Kentucky for the number of dairy farms
  • Adair County ranks second in Kentucky for the number of dairy cows
  • The average dairy herd in Adair County consists of 145 cows
The Adair County Cattlemen's Association will kick off June Dairy Month Celebration on Friday, June 3, 2022, by serving FREE ice cream from NoonCT to 3pmCT at the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY.
