Corps Water Safety Poster Contest winners announced

By Andrea Davis

The grand prize winner of the Corps Water Safety Poster Contest at ACES was Elaine Cook. The three runners-up were Millie Chumbley, Allen King and Mason Sommer. All students were from Adair County Elementary 5th grade class.

The grand prize winner will have their poster framed and hung in the Corps Visitor Center for all visitors to see. The three runner ups will have their posters hung in the Corps' three campground bulletin boards for all incoming campers to view. Each winner will also receive a lifejacket provided by the Friends of Green River Lake non-profit group. The Friends group will also be paying for the framing of the grand prize winner's poster. We hope that all other posters will be displayed somewhere in the school.
