Extension homemakers attend annual meeting By Teresa Bright Adair County Cooperative Extension Service On Thursday, May 5, 2022, six Adair County Extension Homemakers attended the Lake Cumberland Area Annual Meeting in Taylor County. Among them was Kathy Jones, who presented her poster on her well-earned mini-grant project that benefited the local Ruth House in Columbia. Additionally, our County Homemakers President, Sharon Harris, and Area International Chairman, Betty Knifley, were recognized for their service to the area homemakers. This was the first Area Extension Homemakers Annual Meeting since the COVID pandemic. Also, Adair County Extension Homemakers will be traveling this week to the State Homemakers meeting in Owensboro. We are also very excited to have 16 Cultural Arts pieces competing this week at state. This story was posted on 2022-05-10 12:26:12
