May is Beef Month - enjoy a sample at lunch Friday

Did you know that Adair County is home to 18,000 beef cows? Adding to that, beef calves and dairy cattle, Adair County has over 40,000 head of cattle total!

It is estimated that there are over 500 cattle owners in Adair County.



Beef cattle not only supports income for farmers, but also supports the existence of many agricultural local businesses.

Eat with Cattlemen on Friday, May 6, 2022
The Adair County Cattlemen's Association will celebrate May Beef Month on Friday, May 6th by serving ribeye lunches at the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service from 11am till 1pmCT. A $5 donation will provide a ribeye sandwich, chips, dessert, and drink.
