Renewable energy milestone William Feese spotted a wire report in the Courier-Journal's print edition this morning that noted a milestone in California's efforts at energy sustainability. According to the article, "Renewable electricity met 100% of California's electricity demand for the first time ever on Saturday" April 30, 2022. Environmentalists have been pushing for ever tougher standards on renewable energy in the state for over 20 years.
