Steven "Half-pint" Mitchell of Taylor County passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022. He was 35 years old.

Funeral services for Steven "Half-pint " Mitchell will be conducted at 1pmCT on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court St., Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens.

Visitation is requested from 11amCT until 1pmCT on Thursday, May 5, 2022 until the funeral hour.


Steven "Half-pint" Mitchell was born March 21, 1987, in Taylor County, Kentucky to Anthony Boo Mitchell of Campbellsville and Lennie Mae Taylor of Ratcliff.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of 2nd Baptist Church in Greensburg. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Paul and Margie Mitchell and Henry Taylor, one brother: Cameron Irvin and one uncle: Luther Taylor.

He is survived by his father: Anthony Boo Mitchell of Campbellsville and his mother: Lennie Mae Taylor of Ratcliff. He is also survived by one son: Marcus Duke of Louisville and one daughter: Jaslyn Mitchell of Campbellsville; seven brothers: Anthony Ontrell Mitchell of Glasgow, Ryan Johnson of Campbellsville, Andree Johnson of Cave City, Lamont Clayton of Campbellsville, Bronson Taylor of Louisville, Jashawn Taylor and Jahmal Thompkins of Ratcliff, three sisters: Tangie Hardin of Campbellsville, Eboni Mitchell of Louisville and Angelita Taylor of Ratcliff, special friend: Dylan Miller, grandmother: Ruby Lucas (Gary) of Ratcliff, aunts: Shelia Owens (Jamie) of Campbellsville, Deborah Cowherd of Greensburg and Betty Ann Taylor of Indianapolis, Indiana, uncles: Paul Allen Mitchell and Billy Gene Mitchell of Campbellsville, James Taylor of Ratcliff, Michael Taylor and David Taylor of Indianapolis, Indiana, great aunt: Nora Lee Thornton of Indianapolis, Indiana, great uncle and great aunt: James Mann Thornton (Alberta) of Greensburg, several nieces and nephews, plus a host of other relatives and friends.
