Slogan contest judging complete; public vote next

Final three will be announced Friday

Senator McGaha will present playground check

The judging of the slogan contest was completed today ata meeting at LWC. All judges were present.


The top three winning slogans were selected. They will be announced on Friday, August 19, at 2:00 p.m., at the Roadside Park on South KY 55, Columbia.

Public voting, according to rules to be announced, will determine the winning slogan, whose writer will receive the top prize of $500.

Second place will receive $300. Third place will receive $200.

The public voting should take about two weeks to complete.

Senator Vernie McGaha will present the check for the playground equipment for the park at the Friday, August 19, 2005, event.
