Maybelle Berry, 82, Green Co., KY (1939-2022)

Maybelle Berry of Green County passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022, at her home. She was 82 years old.

Funeral services for Mrs. Maybelle Berry will be conducted at 10amCT on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Finis Berry officiating. Burial will follow in the Bennett Cemetery.

Visitation is requested on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 5pmCT until 8pmCT, and after 7amCT on Thursday until time for the funeral service.


Mrs. Maybelle Berry was born May 25, 1939, in Green County, Kentucky, to the late Maude Francis Milby Marr and Elva Leslie Marr.

She worked at Needlecraft and enjoyed fishing. She was a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Otis Eugene Berry, three sisters and seven brothers: Kenny Adams, Catherine Atwell, Jean Donan, Sam Marr, Jacob Marr, Esau Marr, Donald Marr, James Marr, David Marr, and Roger Marr.

She is survived by two sons: Phillip Berry of Greensburg and Chris Berry and his wife Amber of Summersville; two daughters: Diane Bryant and her husband Kenny of Winterpark, Florida, and Karen Davis and her husband Terry of Magnolia. She is also survived by three sisters: Rose McCubbins of the Gabe Community in Green County, Geneva Hall of Greensburg, and Marianna Loyall of Louisville, plus twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to the family burial fund. These can be made at the funeral home.
