Mr. Erwin Lepiarczyk asks help in compiling Burton genealogy

Book will focus on descendants of William and Elizabeth Burton

For many years Mr. Erwin Lepiarczyk has been diligently compiling genealogical information about members of the Burton family of Adair County.

He has researched many records and collaborated with cousins in this endeavor.

He has enjoyed meeting many cousins at the annual "Burton Ridge Get-togethers" of the past which were so valiantly hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Murrell Burton.

Mr. Lepiarczyk, grandson of the late Effie Burton Grider, intends to bring to fruition a first volume of a genealogical book about the Burton family. The book will focus upon the known descendants of William and Elizabeth Burton, native Virginians, who were among the Kentucky pioneers of the early 19th century.

Adair County has been prolifically blessed with abundant descendants of William and Elizabeth Burton. Mr. Lepiarczyk hopes the book will be a timeless heirloom and keepsake honoring the heritage of the Burton family.

Anyone who is interested in the book, may email Mr. Lepiarczyk.

It is impossible to procure information about all members of Burton families; however, Mr. Lepiarczyk does not wish for anyone to be excluded. Contributions of additional family information or copies of photographs will be appreciated from anyone who is related to the Burton families of Adair County.

May God bless all members of the Burton family always.
