Joyce Alberta Rodgers, 77, Adair Co., KY native (1944-2022) Joyce Alberta Rodgers of Taylorsville, Indiana, passed away on March 28, 2022 at her residence. She was 77 years old. A funeral service will be conducted at 3pmET on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church, 623 S Eisenhower Dr, Edinburgh, IN, officiated by Reverend Ricky Burton. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Calling will be from NoonET until time of service at 3pmET. She was born April 17, 1944 in Adair County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Tim and MaryJane (Burton) Burton. She married Fraymond Douglas Rodgers on February 24, 1962 and he preceded her in death on August 18, 1992. She is survived by her sons, Lonnie (Teresa) Rodgers of Columbus, Indiana and Donnie (Julie) Rodgers of Whiteland, Indiana, grandchildren, Dillen Rodgers of Pennsylvania and Keelie Rodgers of Columbus, Indiana, great-grandchildren, Devon, Jacob, Brycen, Bianca, Dillen, Jr, Tanner, Ezekiel, and Dawson, brother, Randell (Judy) Burton of Adair County, Kentucky, and sister, Phyllis Shirley of Adair County, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Charles Burton, and sisters, Bernice Cowan, Lucille Burton, Madeline Grider, Loeta Redman, and Betty Jean Burton. Joyce attended the Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church and had a strong, unwavering faith in the Lord. She retired from United Technology in Edinburgh, and had formerly worked at Cummins Engine Company in Columbus. She enjoyed spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren, liked being outdoors, taking care of her yard, and couponing. A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Ricky Burton at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh. Calling will be from noon until time of service at 3:00 PM. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Arrangements made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana.
