Lola Mae Sublett Knifley, 89, Campbellsville, KY (1932-2022) Lola Mae Sublett Knifley of Campbellsville passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022. She was 89 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Dr. Paul Patton. Burial will follow in Cane Valley Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 10amET until 1pmET on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Lola Mae Sublett Knifley, daughter of the late Chester Sublett and Eula Iva Bault Sublett, was born June 10, 1932 in Coburg, Kentucky. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church. Lola Mae was a retired food service employee of Taylor County School System. She was an excellent homemaker, an award winning seamstress and quilter and could make the best chocolate pie you ever put in your mouth. Her pride and joy was her grandson and great-grandchildren. She united in marriage to Leroy Knifley February 18, 1953. Besides her husband, Leroy Knifley of Campbellsville, she is survived by two sons: Eugene Knifley and wife, Delaine and Kenneth Knifley of Campbellsville; one grandson, Lyle Knifley and wife, Amy; three great-grandchildren: Aleah Knifley, Lance Knifley and Aubreigh Knifley of Campbellsville; one brother, Raj Sublett and wife, Jeri of Campbellsville and one sister, Iva Sublett Brown of Charlottesville, Virginia; a sister-in-law, June Sublett of Chicago, Illinois; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister: Herman Sublett, Winfrey Dale Sublett, James Alfred Sublett, Adrian Sublett and Faye Bennett. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gdeon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
