Over 130 slogan ideas submitted for new promotional logo

From The Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce
We are pleased to announce that the Slogan Contest has now reached its deadline. We have a total of 137 slogans that have been submitted. We are very thankful for everyone who took the time to participate in trying to come up with a very catchy, positive and exciting slogan for Columbia.

In the next few weeks there will be a team of five judges to pick their choice of the top three slogans. The finalists will be announced as the winners, and then the public will vote on the top slogan that will be used in all promotional material about Columbia.

Prize money will be awarded to the 3 newly revealed winners. The winner will receive $500.00, second place winner $300.00, and the third place winner $200.00.

Columbia itself will be the overall winner. Columbia will have a very positive slogan. The people of Adair County will have had a chance to be involved and get excited about beginning this effort to market our county seat.

The Chamber of Commerce looks forward to begin building upon this positive slogan.

Again, Thank You to all participants of the Columbia-Adair County area for all your support and being involved! - Richard Phelps, President
