State Champions: 11-year-old Adair girls All Star Softball Team Congratulations are in order for Adair County's Eleven-year-old Girls All Star Softball Team who won the state tournament on Thursday, July 21 in LaGrange, Kentucky. You're going to be hearing these names a lot as the community becomes aware of the strength of these team members and their coaches... Team members are: D. J. Ballou, Elisabeth Smith, Meridith Corbin, Chanley Otterson, Haley Burton, LeAnna Lewis, Diamond Stargill, Kaylen Hughes, Sarah Coomer and Samantha Hadley. They are coached by LaGene Corbin, Mendell Sexton, Mark Burton and Gerald Hadley. They were welcomed into town Friday afternoon with a police and fire truck escort.
