James Edward Curry, 59, Columbia, KY native (1962-2022) James Edward "Jamie" Curry of Green County passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022, at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. He was 59 years old. The funeral services for James Edward "Jamie" Curry will be conducted at 1pmCT on Friday, March 4, 2022, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Tim Shirley officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation is requested from 4:30pmCT until 8pmCT on Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, and will continue after 7amCT on Friday until time of the funeral service. James Edward "Jamie" Curry, son of the late Luther J. Curry and Loretta Cooper Curry, was born on Friday, September 7, 1962 in Columbia, Kentucky. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was employed with Wholesale Hardwood Interiors in Campbellsville, Kentucky. He was also a Desert Storm Veteran having served in the United States Air Force. Survived by his wife of 28 years, Carla Ann Terry Curry of Green County, having united in marriage on July 2, 1993. Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Jason Lee and Jessica Hewitt of Arizona; four grandchildren: Katelyn, Brittney, Jordan and Zachary; two great-grandchildren: Brooklyn and Isaac; a sister and brother-in-law: Lesa and Bruce Johnson of Green County; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society, which can be made at the funeral home.
