Regina Carol Jeffries, 88, Green Co., KY (1933-2022)

Regina Carol Jeffries of the Liletown Community of Green County passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at the Green Hill Rehab and Care Center. She was 88 years old.

The funeral services for Regina Carol Jeffries will be conducted at 1pmCT on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Joseph Wilcoxson officiating. Burial will follow in the Liletown Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT on Wednesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, and will continue after 7amCT on Thursday until time of the funeral service.


Regina Carol Jeffries, daughter of the late Orville Judd and Nell Mills Judd, was born on Wednesday, April 5, 1933 in Green County.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Houks Chapel United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.

Survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert Keith Jeffries of the Liletown Community, having united in marriage on December 16, 1955.

Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Phillip W. and Alda Ree Jeffries of Green County; a grandson: Kevin Jeffries and his wife, Kim of Green County; a great-grandchild: Cager Jeffries of Greensburg; three step-great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Arps, Collin Arps both of Greensburg, Nathan Arps and his significant other, Kale of Campbellsville; a step-great-great grandchild: River Arps; a sister and brother-in-law: Wanda Sue and Charles Thompson of Greensburg; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Jeffries was also preceded in death by three brothers: Clavis Judd, Vandal Judd, and Joe Judd.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Liletown Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: Kevin Jeffries, Cager Jeffries, Charles Judd, Jon Judd, Chris Davis, Sammy Froggett, Nathan Arps, Charles Thompson.
