Marcella Cox, 81, Campbellsville, KY (1940-2022) Marcella Cox of Campbellsville passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022. She was 81 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amET on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Rev. Paul Dicken. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Marcella Cox, daughter of the late Wallace Gabehart and Christine Monday Bottoms Gabehart, was born May 20, 1940 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mannsville Separate Baptist Church. Marcella was a very caring and compassionate caregiver for many years and loved her family deeply. She united in marriage to David Keith Cox May 12, 1958 and he preceded her in death May 6, 2003. She is survived by one son and two daughters: Grayling Cox and wife, Lisa: Nikki Curry and companion, Liz Newton all of Campbellsville: Melissa Schlobohm and husband, Sean of Palm Coast, Florida Three grandchildren: Kassondra Cook and Husband, David of Campbellsville: Kelsi Wayne Schlobohm of Lexington and Daulton Schlobohm of Palm Coast Florida; two great-grandchildren: Louie B. Cook and Payton England; one brother and one sister: Anthony Gabehart and Becky Sizemore of Campbellsville; three sisters-in-law: Beverly Sue Cox, Kathleen Cox and Mary Nell Cox; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister: Timmy Bottoms, Jimmy Bottoms and Carolyn Dicken. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gideon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
