Billy Gene Humble, 81, Columbia, KY (1940-2022)

Billy Gene Humble of Columbia passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at his home. He was 81 years old.

Billy requested cremation, and that no visitation or service be held.


He was born August 5, 1940, in Adair County, to the late William Rymon and Maxine Brockman Humble. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, William Christopher Humble, Sr.

Billy was a US Army Veteran, retired Teamster and a farmer.

Survivors include:
  • One Son - Jeffery Logan Humble of Columbia
  • One grandson - Chris Humble, Jr. of Russell County
  • Three great-grandchildren
  • One sister - Dorothy Antle of Frankfort
  • The mother of his sons - Anita Johnson Humble of London
  • His honorary caretaker - Linda Carol Johnson of Hyden
The family request no flowers but would encourage a donation to the Good Works Program by the Kentucky Colonels by calling 502-266-6114.
