Joe Dillingham, 81

Services will be held Monday afternoon in Louisville for Joe Dillingham, former Adair County resident who died Thursday in Louisville. He was the son of the late R. O. and Flora Morris Dillingham of Adair County and is survived by his wife Judy Miller Dillingham of Louisville.

Survivors also include:
  • One daughter, Linda Kiser,
  • One brother, Bobby Lewis Dillingham and his wife Evelyn of Columbia,
  • One sister, Mildred Jean Sparks and her husband Billy of Edmonton,
  • Two grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
  • He was preceded in death by a brother William Earl Dillingham.
Joe was a member of the Shively Baptist Church, a retired truck driver, member of Teamsters Local Union #89 and the former Compass Masonic Lodge which merged with Robinson Masonic Lodge #266 F&AM. He played music passionately for most of his life, most recently with the Harmoincs of Louisville.

Services are Monday, July 18, 2005 at 1 p.m. at J. E. Ratterman & Son Funeral Home with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens - West.

Memorial contributions may be made to his church or to the American Cancer Society.
