Election Poll workers still needed in Adair County Election Official Ricky Collins of Columbia reminds everyone that poll workers are needed in order to keep all polling places open in the upcoming 2022 Primary and General Elections. All ages are welcome from 18 to seniors. Poll workers will be paid for Election day and for attending a two hour election school training. With the new HB574 Bill, most voters are eligible, regardless of political affiliation. Community volunteer Richard Phelps heard Ricky's message and says he is thinking of helping out. Unless enough Poll workers step up some of the precincts will have to be closed. For more information about becoming a poll worker, please call The Adair County Clerk's Office at 270-384-2801 or send an email to Lisa.Greer@ky.gov. This story was posted on 2022-02-10 08:30:42
