James Kenneth Perkins, 91, Campbellsville, KY (1930-2022) James Kenneth Perkins of Campbellsville passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022. He was 91 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Rev. Michael Woodrum. Burial will follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 10amET until 1pmET on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. James Kenneth Perkins, son of the late Bennie Perkins and Lola Sweeden Perkins, was born August 5, 1930 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He had professed faith of Christ. He was a retired farmer and had worked at McMahan Furniture and for Cox's Sawmill. He was kind-hearted man who loved his family and would do anything for anybody. He united in marriage to Vernon Hovious Perkins who preceded him in death. He is survived by one brother and one sister: Glen Perkins and Geraldine Ford of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by an infant child and two brothers and two sisters: Raymond Perkins, Louis Perkins, Delois Farmer and Doris Woodrum. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gideon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
