Scherry Ann Fluty, 65, Burkesville, KY (1956-2022) Mrs. Scherry Ann (Grider) Fluty of Burkesville passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. She was 65 years old. The funeral service will be conducted at 1pmCT on Sunday, February 6, 2022, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main St, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Donnie Shelley, and Bro. Tim Fluty officiating. Burial will follow in the Shorts Chapel Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 5, 2022 after 1pmCT, until the funeral hour on Sunday. She was born in Monroe County, Kentucky, on Thursday, September 27, 1956, the daughter of William Barlow and Wendy (Flowers) Grider. She was a Christian, attended Twin Lakes Grace Fellowship Church, and worked in numerous sewing factories such as Suttons, and E.M.K. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her nephew, Michael "Munk" Taylor. She is survived by husband, Lecil Fluty, whom she wed on Monday, February 14, 1972, of Burkesville, Kentucky, children, Jeff Fluty of Burkesville, Kentucky, Michael Fluty (& Christine Velasquez) of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Shannon Fluty of Aburn, Kentucky, siblings, Terry (& Vanessa) Grider of Burkesville, Kentucky, Chad (& Kelly) Grider of Louisville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Bryson Fluty, Levi Fluty, Olivia Fluty, Riley Wynne, Ethan Wynne, and special friend, Nancy Groce.
