Are you interested in becoming a Master Gardener? By Nick Roy, Agent for Agriculture & Natural Resources Adair County Cooperative Extension Service The Adair County Cooperative Extension Service is currently investigating the potential interest for a Master Gardener Program for Adair County. The program consists of both educational classes and volunteer hours to achieve and maintain Master Gardener certification status. Extension Master Gardeners are trained volunteers that assist County Extension Agents with educational programming. Extension Master Gardeners are active throughout the U.S. and Canada. Many Kentucky counties have active programs. An informational meeting will be held at 5:30pmCT on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service. The meeting will last about one hour and provide further details on the requirements to complete the program. Anyone who has interest in becoming a Master Gardener or having their certification from another county reinstated should attend this meeting.
