Anna Ray, 63, Columbia, KY (1958-2022)

Anna Ray of Columbia passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. She was 63 years old.

Care and cremation were chosen. A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.


Anna was born in Albany, KY, on February 21, 1958, a daughter of the late Lena (Brumley) and Joe Bell.

Anna is survived by:
  • Three sisters, Christine Norris, Janice Vine, and Rita Guffey
  • Eight brothers, J.D. Bell, Roger Bell, Eddie Bell, Andy Bell, Kenneth Bell, Phillip Bell, Odell Brumley, and David Brumley
  • A special friend Lucy Malone
  • Godchildren Destiny Miller, Nikki Ballenger, and James Murphy
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack Ray, sisters Alma Jones, Bessie Elmore, Mary Brown, Ora Reeder, Dorothy Wesley, and Sue Bravard.
