Joyce Carolyn Coffey, 73, Green Co., KY (1948-2022) Joyce Carolyn Coffey of the Little Barren Community passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the TJ Samson Hospital in Glasgow. She was 73 years old. The funeral services for Joyce Carolyn Coffey will be conducted at 11amCT on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Little Barren Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 3:30pmCT until 8pmCT on Monday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, and will continue after 7amCT on Tuesday until the time of the funeral service. Joyce Carolyn Coffey of the Little Barren Community, daughter of the late Sylvester Jeffries and Elsie Bell Wilson Jeffries, was born on Friday, November 5, 1948 in Green County. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She worked at the Coffey Family Care Home for 22 years and loved living the farm life and working with cows. Survived by her husband of 49 years, Cecil Barkley "Buck" Coffey of the Little Barren Community, having united in marriage February 12, 1972. Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Tina Wynett and Glenn Wisdom and David Brian Coffey all of the Little Barren Community; a granddaughter: Cecily Amber Wisdom of the Little Barren Community; two sisters and brother-in-law: Rita and Danny Curry of Green County and Jolene Jeffries of Green County. Mrs. Coffey was also preceded in death by three sisters: Barbara Wright, Linda Henderson, and Pam Moore. Pallbearers: Troy Sluder, Timmy Sluder, Braeden Sluder, Glen Wisdom, Brian Coffey, Mike Harmon Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
