Kenneth Wayne (Gap) Bishop, 66, Green County, KY

Kenneth Wayne "Gap" Bishop of Greensburg, Kentucky son of the late Johnsie Bishop and Jeanette Estes Bishop, was born on Monday, August 1, 1955 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the Green Hill Rehab and Care Center. He was 66 years, 5 months, and 26 days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Faith Christian Church.



He was survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law: Charles "Elk" Bishop of Greensburg, William Allen "Bo" and Lisa Bishop of Louisville, and James Robert "Buggs" and Debbie Bishop of Campbellsville; a sister: Janet Edwards of Greensburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Bishop was also preceded in death by two infant brothers Donald Lewis Bishop and Thomas Lee Bishop.

The funeral services for Kenneth Wayne "Gap" Bishop will be conducted at 1pmCT Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Bro. Robert Adkins officiating. Visitation is requested from 4 until 8pm Sunday and after 7 Monday until time of the funeral service.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or American Diabetes Association which can be made at the funeral home.

PALLBEARERS: Stephen Bishop, Terry Bishop, Brandon Bishop, Joe Yates, Lawrence Yates, Edgar Yates.
