Sheila May Upton, 71, Metcalfe County, KY (1950-2022)

Sheila May Upton, 71 of Edmonton passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022. She was born November 9, 1950 in Metcalfe County to the late Raymond and Verbie Smith Shaw.

She was a lifelong member of the Foundation Methodist Church. She always had a warm smile and loved to dance.



Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Rondal Shaw, Junior Shaw, Van Shaw and Shirley Reece. Also preceded in death by a brother in law Cecil Crews.

Sheila is survived by one son Jonathan Gupton (Valorie Nelson) of Center. A grandson Nathan Upton. Sister Christine Crews and her significant other, Terry Upton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services for Sheila Upton will be held 1pmCT Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the Missionary Mound Cemetery near Edmonton. Visitation will be after 9 Sunday until service time at Butler Funeral Home.
