Rev. Dorris Gene Crowder, 63 Rev. Dorris Gene Crowder, former pastor of Columbia Baptist Church and the father of Col. Wm. Casey Elementary music teacher Cyndi Crowder, passed away Friday. His obituary information is provided by Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. He was a graduate of Southern Baptist Seminary and pastored numerous churches throughout Kentucky. He is survived by:
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. central time Monday at Robards Baptist Church in Robards, Kentucky. Visitation will be at the church after 11 a.m. central time. A service will also be held at Resthaven Funeral Home in Louisville. Visitation will be there after 11 a.m. Tuesday. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville. Memorial gifts may be made to the Wickland Baptist Church missions in Bardstown.
