Arthur Giles, 88, Adair Co., KY native (1933-2021) Arthur Giles of Campbellsville passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 in Lexington. He was 88 years old. The funeral service will be held at 2pmET on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Bro. Roger Price. Burial will follow in Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 10amET until 2pmET on Sunday. Arthur Giles, son of the late Wesley Giles and Jeston May Giles, was born January 13, 1933, in Adair County, Kentucky. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Cold Springs Primitive Baptist Church. He loved reading his Bible and was a good Christian man. Arthur was a retired contractor and real estate agent. He enjoyed being with his family and visiting with friends. He loved fishing with his brothers and traveling. He united in marriage to Betty Ellis April 8, 1977 Besides his wife, Betty Giles of Campbellsville, he is survived by two brothers and three sisters: Junior Giles and wife, Jodie, Travis Giles and wife, Judy and Lillie Pike and husband, Euen of Columbia, Wanda Helm and husband, Larry of Jamestown and Emogene Redmon and husband, Edward of Shepherdsville; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Giles and Barbara Giles of Columbia; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by three brothers: Clifford Giles, Tommy Giles and Alvin D. Giles and his wife, Shirley, and five nephews. Pallbearers: Jacob Doss, David Giles, Reece Giles, Shad Giles, Zach Giles, and Derrick Helm. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gideon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
