Jerry Sharp, 73, Campbellsville, KY (1948-2021) Jerry Sharp of Campbellsville passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 in Louisville. He was 73 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amET on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Bro. Nick Fields and Rev Earl West. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Jerry Sharp, son of the late Raymond "Peanut" Sharp and Betty Nelson Sharp, was born July 19, 1948 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Church of the Nazarene. Jerry helped his family on the farm and was disabled from a tractor accident. He loved to fish, go out to eat and visit his neighbors. He was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcat Fan. He is survived by two brothers: Kenneth Sharp and wife, Emma and Randall Sharp and wife, Sharon of Campbellsville; four nieces and two nephews: Evangela Cave and husband, Bernie, Ernie Sharp and wife, Cindie, Suzette Akridge and husband, Lee, Shannon Clark, Beth Wilson and husband, Terry and Todd Sharp and wife, Brandi; three aunts and one uncle: Thelma Barnes, Rachel and Howard Durham, Allen Nelson and Helen Sharpe; and many other relatives and friends. Pallbearers: Lee Akridge, Suzette Akridge, Evangela Cave, Bernie Cave, Shannon Clark, Ernie Sharp, Todd Sharp, Beth Wilson Honorary Pallbearers: Keith Cave, Leroy Colvin, Buddy Kirtley, J.C. Lawson, Eddie Sanders, Cindie Sharp, Barry Smith, Gerald Smith, Lanny Thompson, Hub Veatch Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gideon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
