Second Sunday of Advent at Columbia United Methodist Church

By Doug Beard

Everyone is invited to attend our special services at Columbia United Methodist Church celebrating the Advent Season with the theme "Great Music of the Advent Season." These reflective and inspirational services will tell the true story of Christmas through special vocal and instrumental music, the sanctuary bells, the histories of the hymns, readings from the Holy Scriptures, a special children's program and messages related to the Holy season.

Sunday, December 5th "The 2nd Sunday of Advent"
  • 9amCT - Sunday School classes
  • 10amCT - Morning worship service
This Sunday, December 5, 2021, we will discover the story of what has been called the world's most enduring and performed Christmas hymn, "Silent Night." We will also be blessed by our children as they present their program, "Stick Drama."
