Hazel H. Brown, 96

Services will be held Monday, May 23, 2005 at noon at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home for Hazel H. Brown. She passed away Friday at Westlake Regional Hospital after an illness.

She was the daughter of the late George and Sarah Campbell Harvey of Adair County and was the widow of Rev. J. O. Brown who preceded her in death in 1967. She was a member of the Columbia Church of the Nazarene and a homemaker.


She is survived by:
  • A daughter and son-in-law, Galen and Bob Harvey of Jamestown
  • Eight grandchildren
  • Sixteen great grandchildren and eight great, great grandchildren
  • A special friend, Lou Vena Leigh of Columbia
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by two sons: Eugene Lewis Brown and Sanford Dean Brown and by two daughters in law, Opal Brown and Sarah Brown. She was also preceded in death by a grandson Kenny Goodman.

Bro. Randy Burns will officiate at the Monday noon service with interment in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.

Visistation will be after 11:30 on Sunday at the funeral home.
