Kenneth Melvin Mings, 63

Services will be held Friday, May 20, 2005 at 10 a.m. at Grissom Funeral Home for Kenneth Melvin Mings of Russell County. He was a son of the late Harlin Mings of Adair County. His mother and a brother, Carl Mings, still live here.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters: Russell Mings, Helen Becker and Freda Stotts.

Survivors include:
  • His mother, Tolou Farmer Mings of Pellyton

  • His wife, Dianna Griffin Mings of Russell Springs

  • Four daughters: Angela Denise Mings, Penny Michel Belzar and Telina Sayors, of Columbus, IN, and April Michel Maddux of Russell Springs

  • One brother, Carl Mings, Columbia

  • Two sisters, Ruby Cave of Ninevah, IN., and Shirley Murphy of Campbellsville

  • Four grandchildren: Jonathan Mings, Ian Gray, Haylee Mings and Seria Sayors.
Bro. Jeff Edwards will officiate at the Friday morning service with burial to follow in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is after 4 p.m. on Thursday
