Delmas Landon Coomer, 85, Adair County, KY Delmas Landon Coomer, 85, of the Millerfield community of Adair County, KY died Friday, November 5, 2021 at his home. He was united in marriage to Judy Stone on April 1, 1960. He worked for many years at the Cudahy Cheese Plant in Russell Springs and dairy farmed. His favorite hobby was coon hunting with walker dogs. He attended the Millerfield Brethren-in-Christ Church since. 1970. He was born September 14, 1936, in the Morris Chapel community of Adair County, to the late Rachel Marie Gibson Coomer and Freeman Coomer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Wilson, one sister, Matra Wissing, two brothers, Forbes and Leon Coomer and one grandchild, Brandon Coomer. Survivors include: His wife - Judy Stone Coomer of the Millerfield community Two children - Delmas (Gail) Coomer of the Millerfield community and Rhonda (Robert) Knight of Columbia Four grandchildren - Shae (Jason) Murrell, Sierra (Josh) Durbin, Devin (Whittney) Akin and Skylar Coomer Two step-grandchildren - Josh (Alicia) Knight and Dustin (Megan) Knight Eight great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren Two sisters - Rena Kerns of Lebanon Junction and Estelene Hayes of Columbia Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends Funeral service - Monday, November 8, 2021 at 11amCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Knight officiating, burial in Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 4-8pmCT and anytime Monday before service.
