Katie Carter Campbell named Educator of the Month By Debra Waddell Congratulations to Katie Carter Campbell on being named the Educator of the Month for the Adair County Education Association ACEA/KEA! Ms. Campbell began her career at Russell County High School and continued on to John Adair Intermediate School here in Adair County. Currently she is the Art Teacher for Adair County Middle School where everyone has enjoyed her talent and many kindnesses for the last 7 years. Katie has also worked in hospital administration and in accounting before becoming an Art Teacher. We are so lucky! Her favorite moment in teaching is when former students tell her they still have their artwork they created in her class hanging on their walls at home. Her favorite teaching quote is actually a Chinese Proverb: "Tell me and I will forget, show me and I may remember, involve me and I will understand." This story was posted on 2021-11-05 07:55:03
