Lavon Roberts Murphy, 88, Casey County, KY (1933-2021) Lavon Roberts Murphy, age 88, of Liberty, KY passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at the Liberty Care Center. She was born January 23rd, 1933, in Casey County, KY, a daughter of the late Cyrus and Laura Wilkerson Roberts. She was a homemaker and a member of Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church. Lavon was the widow of Matt Green (M.G.) Murphy who passed away on February 7, 1991. Survivors include: One Son: Barry and (Flossie) Murphy of Liberty, Five Grandchildren: Robby and (Stephanie) Murphy, Lisa and (Roger) Coots, Craig and (Angie) Murphy, Brandon Murphy and Matt and (Robin) Murphy, Nine Great Grandchildren: Haley and (Devin) Burton, Megan and (Caleb) Wesley, Courtney and (Spencer) Brackett, Brittany Murphy, Jenna Murphy, Ethan Murphy, Gracie Coots, Wyatt Murphy and Murphy Coots, Three Great Great Grandchildren: Amelya Burton, Owen Wesley and Sadie Ruth Brackett and One Sister: Evona Fair of Indianapolis, In. Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was One Son: Bobby Murphy, Four Sisters: May Brown, Dorothy Smith, Linda Johnson and Edna Campbell and Four Brothers: Howard, James, William J. and C.H. Roberts. Visitation will be held 12noonET Friday November 5, 2021, at Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held 2pmET Friday November 5, 2021, at Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church. Bro. Rodney Smith and Bro. Clifton Cowan officiating. Burial will be in the Murphy Cemetery.
