2021-22 LWC women's basketball schedule released By Christopher Webster The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball schedule for the 2021-22 season was released by 33rd-year head coach John Wethington. The schedule consists of 30 games, 17 on the road and 13 at home in Biggers Sports Center. This season begins on Wednesday as the Blue Raiders travel to battle Indiana Southeast in New Albany, IN. Tipoff is scheduled for 4:30pmCT. The Blue Raiders play their home opener on Nov. 9, 2021, as they host Berea (KY) at 4pmCT. Lindsey Wilson begins a five-game road trip on Nov. 11, facing Midway (KY). Tipoff is slated for 5pmCT Mid-South Conference play begins on Nov. 18 when the Blue Raiders travel to battle Bethel (TN) at 6pmCT. Lindsey Wilson follows up with a conference game against Freed-Hardeman (TN) on Nov. 20 at 2pmCT. Conference play is put on halt when Lindsey Wilson competes in the Julie Costello Memorial Classic on Nov. 26 and 27 in Crestview Hills, Ky. The Blue Raiders take on Saint Thomas (Fla.) and No. 7 Carroll (Mo.) on the 26 at 1:30pmCT and 27 at 11 a.m. CT, respectively. The Blue Raiders resume conference action as they return to Biggers Sports Center to open the month of December to face Shawnee State (OH) on the 2 at 6pmCT and No. 2 Thomas More (KY) on the 4 at 2pmCT. Lindsey Wilson travels to face rival No. 3 Campbellsville (KY) in the Battle of Highway 55 on Dec. 7. Tipoff is scheduled for 5pmCT. On Dec. 10 the Blue Raiders play host for a non-conference battle against No. 11 Indiana Wesleyan at 6pmCT. Conference play resumes as Lindsey Wilson travels north to face Georgetown (KY) on Dec. 14 at 5pmCT. The Blue Raiders end the year in Rincon, Puerto Rico as they compete in the Puerto Rico Tournament on Dec. 20 and 21. Opponents and tipoff times will be announced at a later date. The new year begins with a game against Cumberland (TN) on Jan. 3 in Biggers Sports Center at 6pmCT. The Blue Raiders wrap up the month of January with a pair of games against Freed-Hardeman and Bethel in Biggers Sports Center on the 27 at 6pmCT and 29 at 2pmCT, respectively. Lindsey Wilson host Campbellsville for their second meeting of the season on Feb. 3. Tipoff is scheduled for 6pmCT. The Blue Raiders wrap up the regular season at home where they face Life (Ga.) on Feb. 19 at 2pmCT. The Blue Raiders finished last season with a 19-6 overall record and a 13-4 record in Mid-South Conference play. In addition, Lindsey Wilson finished with an NAIA Opening Round appearance.
