Eugene Pelston, 45, Sparksville, KY native (1975-2021)

Eugene Pelston, of Glasgow, formerly of the Sparksville Community of Adair County, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 in Glasgow at the T.J. Samson Regional Hospital. He was 45 years old.

The funeral service for Eugene Pelston will be held at 1pmCT on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd., Campbellsville, KY, with burial to follow in the Harrods Fork Cemetery at Sparksville.

The family requests visitation after 4pmCT on Tuesday at the funeral home.


Eugene Pelston, the son of Sue (Fudge) Pelston of Sparksville and the late George Pelston, was born December 19, 1975 in Columbia.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a factory worker for Akebono Brake in Glasgow at the time of his death.

Eugene enjoyed riding four wheelers and motorcycles, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing Xbox, and farming Simulator games, but most of all, spending time with his family, especially his grandson.

Survivors include his mother: Sue Pelston of Sparksville, three daughters: Amy Nicole Pelston (Damon Kessinger) of Greensburg, Ashley Renee Pelston (Jacob Hilty) of Breeding and Heather Marie Butler of Glasgow; a sister: Melanda Fields and husband Ricky of Breeding; a brother: Chris Pelston of Sparksville; a grandson: Joseph Oliver Kessinger and a host of other relatives and friends.
