Trick or treating starts with LWC Friday, more events Saturday

Remember to watch out for trick-or-treaters Friday and Saturday in Columbia, especially during evening hours, as two big events will be taking place:
  • Lindsey Wilson College's Drive-Thru Safe Halloween will kick off from 5pmCT to 8pmCT tonight, Friday, October 29, 2021. Cars will enter campus on Spickard Drive, off of Highway 206 in Columbia. Children will enjoy the festive music and the campus will be adorned with spooky, and some not-so-spooky, Halloween decorations. Lindsey Wilson students will be dressed as popular children's characters and LWC athletes will be in uniform. Students will wear gloves for safety precautions.Click here for full details.

  • The 2021 Adair County Drive Thru Trick or Treat Extravaganza will take place between 4pmCT and 7pmCT on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Click here for a list of locations.

  • The official city hours for trick or treating are also 4pmCT and 7pmCT on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Children and parents will be stopping often with many also walking the streets throughout the evening.
