Adair Co. Bus Driver Appreciation Breakfast

By Donna Grant

On Thursday, October 28, 2021, Adair County Transportation Director Steve Burton had breakfast for bus drivers and bus monitors.

In the photo with bus drivers and Mr. Burton are Bank Representatives Andrea Waggener and Mandy Withers Cross. The local banks, Bank of Columbia, United Citizens Bank, Community Trust Bank, and First and Farmers Bank gave shirts out to every bus driver to show their appreciation.

Ms. Pam Hancock with McDonalds gave each bus driver a Value Meal Card.

On behalf of myself, Steve Burton, and all of our bus drivers we want to say "Thank You" to everyone for showing their appreciation. Bus driving is not always an easy job but it is a rewarding one. Adair County is Blessed to have the absolute best great crew of drivers!
