Margie Ella Collins, 82, Columbia, KY (1939-2021) Margie Ella (Feese) Collins of Columbia passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at her residence. She was 82 years old. Funeral services will be held at 2pmCT on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with burial to follow in the Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10amCT on Tuesday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. She was born on January 13, 1939 in Illinois to the late Willie Mat Sr. and Grace Davis Feese. Margie was a member of the Beulah Chapel Brethren in Christ Church serving as organist for many years and was retired from the State of Kentucky after 25 years of service. Margie was very active in many civic organizations including the Democratic Women's Club and Kentucky State Retirement Association. She was an avid traveler and a very competitive person that enjoyed playing bridge, bowling and golf. Survivors include her husband Jack Collins of Columbia, KY; a son Chris Maurath (Laura) of Columbia, KY; three grandchildren Derek Maurath (Samantha), Whitney Maurath and Rebecca Heuser; three great grandchildren Collin, Emory and Renner Maurath; four siblings Willie Mat Feese, Jr. (Donna) of Columbia, KY, Bertha Goodin of Columbia, KY, Barbara Frazier of Hephzibah, GA and Eileen Hamilton (Paul) of Danville, KY; several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Green River Hosparus, these donations can be left at the funeral home. The funeral service will be live-streamed on Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home Facebook page at 2:00pm Tuesday. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
