ACSO: Russell Co. man arrested after fleeing traffic stop By Sheriff Josh Brockman Adair County Sheriff's Office On Thursday, October 21, 2021, at around 6:30pmCT, K-9 Deputy Chandler Staten attempted to initiate a traffic stop on KY 55 South on a 1993 Ford Ranger. The operator refused to stop for Deputy Staten, continuing out KY55. At one point the vehicle left the roadway and drove through a gate, leading the deputy off the roadway through a pasture field. The driver eventually bailed out of the vehicle, and pursuit continued on foot. The driver was apprehended a short time later, and taken into custody.
