Billy (Shawn) Hurt, 46, Metcalfe County, KY (1975-2021)

Billy "Shawn" Hurt, age 46, of Edmonton passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green.

Born August 29, 1975 in Glasgow he was a son of Billy and Ruth Ann Shive Hurt, Edmonton, who survive.



Survivors other than his parents include one sister, Kari and her husband Adam Harper, Edmonton; one nephew, Jackson Harper; one niece Karlee Harper; and he leaves behind a special young lady he loved as his own, Kassie Stines Gray (MoMo)and her husband Steven Gray and grandson, Mason; and several relatives and friends.

Preceding him death was his grandparents, Benton and Pauline Hurt and James and Ruby Shive.

Funeral services will be Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 3pmCT at McMurtrey Funeral Home with Greg Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 10am until time of service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the funeral fund and left at the funeral home.
