Edward C. Ebe, 53 Vietnam veteran, dies in Illinois Hit-and-run accident takes life of former Knifley resident Edward C. Ebe, 53, Quincy, IL, formerly of Knifley, KY, died Monday, April 11, 2005, from injuries suffered in a hit-and-run accident in Quincy. There will be a graveside service, Monday, April 18, 2005, at Merrimac Cemetery in Taylor County, with burial to follow. There will be no visitation. Grissom Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments. Mr. Ebe was a veteran of the Vietnam conflict and a truck driver. He is survived by a Godchild, Starr Edwards, Campbellsville, KY, and his best friends, Dorcas and John Martin, Knifley, KY.
