First Annual South Central KY Sheriffs Charity Ride

By Sheriff Josh Brockman
Adair County Sheriff's Office

On Saturday, August 28, 2021 we held the First Annual South Central Kentucky Sheriff's Charity Ride. The Sheriffs from Adair, Russell, Casey, Clinton, and Cumberland Counties organized the event. By 9amCT, we had over 100 motorcycles and riders from all 5 counties show up to support the event.

We were able to raise $5,000.00 for various charities in each county. Each sheriff donated $200.00 to the KY Boys and Girls Sheriff Ranch.

In addition each Sheriff received $800.00 to donate to a charity from their community. The Adair County donation went to J.O.Y. Ministries.

"There are so many great charities in Adair County, we are truly a blessed county. The residents in Adair have always been generous in their giving. J.O.Y. Ministries has been so helpful to our community. Many of the things they do go unnoticed but for law enforcement officers and other emergency workers we see first hand the things they do, especially helping us with situations we get into with families who need help. We look forward to next years ride and pray that it continues to grow." --Sheriff Josh Brockman
